What do you think of Marvel Comics character Thor?

Thor has been around for ages and is tearing up the Marvel U again in his latest self-titled smash hit series which is about a dozen issues in. (counting one-shots)
My question is this: What do you think of him and his latest comic book series?

I like Thor honestly. I’m not as familiar with his history as I wished, but I know a little about him. His new book is excellent, and maybe the best book Marvel is putting out at this point. I love the premise of him setting up camp in the middle of Oklahoma and basically rewriting history while keeping all of that fabulous back story, unlike the Ultimate line of comics which have butchered Marvel’s rich legacy of storytelling.
I’m honestly not a fan of the new “look” Loki has, that’s one of my few complaints about the new series. At least Loki hasn’t changed in any other ways, still up to the same old tricks I suppose. Other than Loki and Odin I really didn’t know much about the other characters in Thor’s life like Kelda, Balder, The Enchantress, Fandral, Hogun, Volstagg, etc. But now I know more about them and want to continue learning.
This book is amazing every week, both in dialogue and in art. I’m so glad Marvel brought Thor back because otherwise I’d have never known about this wondrous world.
