Does anyone know why the Marvel Masterworks X-Men Vol. 4 is so expensive?
I’ve searched quite a bit and it seems to be very rare. The only place I can find it is on amazon but it’s more than $140 above the cost of the rest of the books in the collection. Just wondering what makes this one so special?
I think all of them are expensive. They’re expensive because Marvel has collected multiple issues of the first comics and put then in volume form. I believe volume 4 has issues #32-42 which haven’t been printed in about thirty years. They’re essentially collector’s items.
